Previous Law Updates: Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993

Health & Safety The Minister of Labour has made the Pressure Equipment Regulations, as set out in the Schedule to the Notice. These regulations came into operation o­n 1 October 2009. These regulations repealed the Vessels under Pressure Regulations published under Government Notice 1591 of 4 October 1996. See Government Notice No. 734 of Government Gazette No. 32395 of 15 July 2009.

The Minister of Labour incorporated into the Pressure Equipment Regulations, 2009 the health and safety standards specified in the Schedule to the Notice. The Notice commenced o­n 1 October 2009. See Government Notice No. 735 of Government Gazette No. 32395 of 15 July 2009.
